¿Se debe realizar descontaminación selectiva del tubo digestivo en los pacientes graves?

Parece ofrecer una alternativa segura y eficaz, pero este método no fue nunca comparado en forma directa con la descontaminación digestiva selectiva o con la descontaminación oral selectiva.
