Epidemiología del Trastorno de pánico

La consulta por trastorno de pánico es frecuente no sólo en la práctica psiquiátrica. Los servicios de guardia y emergencias, los médicos clínicos, los cardiólogos y algunos otros especialistas están cada vez más avezados para reconocerlo, aunque el sub-diagnóstico es aún frecuente y se requieren herramientas diagnósticas y criterios terapéuticos para tratarlo eficaz y eficientemente.
