Fumar tabaco es la mayor causa evitable de enfermedad en el mundo. Se estima que en los Estados Unidos resultan anualmente más de 400.000 muertes como consecuencia de enfermedades derivadas de su uso (5), y en Argentina se calculan alrededor de 40.000.
