El hielo reduce el dolor y el uso de narcóticos postoperatorios de la incisión en la línea media

Los autores hipotetizaron que los pacientes sometidos a operaciones abdominales mayores y randomizados para recibir crioterapia, mediante un paquete de hielo en el período postoperatorio inmediato, podrían reportar puntajes más bajos de dolor, menor uso de medicación narcótica para el dolor y tener estadías hospitalarias más cortas.
