Tratamiento antibiótico guiado por la procalcitonina

Una nueva manera de reducir la indicación de antibióticos sería a través del uso de un biomarcador que aumente en presencia de infección bacteriana y se normalice después de que la infección haya sido tratada en forma adecuada
