Trastorno de la personalidad
No se debe usar el concepto de que el trastorno de la personalidad es persistente e inmutable para negar el acceso de los pacientes a intervenciones terapéuticas útiles como el tratamiento psicológico.

Si bien el artículo me parece excelente, no puedo dejar de sorprenderme que todavía se necesite difundir e insistir sobre la necesariedad de un abordaje terapéutico integral de los pacientes con graves trastornos de la personalidad para mejorar su calidad de vida y la de los que lo rodean. Es como si hoy se difundiera e insistiera sobre la importancia de tratar la bipolaridad, la esquizofrenia, etc. De todas maneras la explicación que le encuentro es la gran resistencia contratransferencial y vincular que generan los pacientes narcisistas, borderlines y psicopáticos a la hora de la consulta profesional, sea a médicos generales e incluso a especialistas en salud mental (psicólogos y psiquiatras). Está muy bien estudiado e investigado que los pacientes con graves trastornos de la personalidad generan reacciones inconcientes en quienes lo atienden que combinan la hostilidad, el temor, la culpa, el hartazgo según los casos y los momentos transferenciales o vinculares de estos difíciles pacientes. Personalmente me atrae mucho la compleja clínica de estos casos que veo en el consultorio y en el hospital que lamentablemente se encuentran bastante subdiagnosticados bajo el infinito espectro bipolar de moda.
