Nefropatía crónica
Una nueva definición y clasificación de la nefropatía crónica surgió en 2002 y se modificó en 2012, basada sobre pruebas de laboratorio. Se fundamentó en que identificar tempranamente la nefropatía crónica demoraría la progresión hacia la insuficiencia renal y podría prevenir las enfermedades asociadas.

En relaciòn a la Nefropatìa Crònica debo comentar que es importante la etiologia, el tiempo de evoluciòn de la enfermedad, el lugar de residencia del paciente, patologias asociadas, hàbitos nutricionales y un anàlisis de varios exàmenes de laboratorio para su diagnòstico adecuado .
